If you want to see what is wrong with nerd culture, and specifically the enormous privilege enjoyed and expected by its male population, read this thread, or even just the first post (as it has gotten quite long now).  But if you’re not interested in throwing up in your mouth a little, maybe don’t read it.

I wonder when if cis men will ever get it through their heads that if they stopped treating women (and every other minority) like sub-human pieces of crap that they would realize that we’re not actually any different and maybe we could all just get along and they wouldn’t need their little fucking Boy’s Club anymore?

I didn’t read the forum, but I’m not sure I need to. You just summed up how I feel about men with the intense need to insist that if a woman is involved in (insert anything here) then it obviously means it’s ruined for men.  If you have friends, just play with/interact with them- if you don’t, well I know why.

While reading through some of the comments in that forum I can only sum up that these guys are childish little boys who haven’t grown up yet. I think I felt dumber when reading those comments.

just sounds like a bunch of 5 year olds complaining about girls and how they have “cooties” in their precious games.
